In-Powered (INP), a 501(c)(3) organization, trains, develops and supports educators and students to become leaders of home-grown yoga and mindfulness programs. Through our organization’s evolution we’ve learned that school leaders and in-house teachers know what’s best for their individual campuses.
INP empowers teachers and students by offering premier and specifically-tailored certification, professional development, and continuing education for clients within the education sector.
Additionally, INP serves as a central hub for education, training and transformation for yoga educators interested in expanding and adapting their own teaching and leadership practices to reach a wider range of students. We are a source of learning and mentorship for teachers and leaders interested in integrating their own yoga and mindfulness programs – in schools, prisons, or beyond.
The following is our model for sustainability, organizational growth and empowerment:
Our work starts with building relationships with teachers and school leaders interested in starting their own yoga elective programs.
We offer 200-Hour Teacher Training for school teachers and/or administrators. In conjunction with their training, INP also offers continued development opportunities.
After completing training, we support teachers and schools with elective program integration to offer student yoga and mindfulness programs.
After enrolling students into a yoga program, INP enrolls students in their own Teen Teacher Training.
Upon completion of their training, INP staff, teens and teachers work together to empower their school community through teaching.
