In-Powered (INP) is thrilled to offer our first in-house 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training. This training is specifically designed for school teachers and educators seeking to integrate their own school-based yoga and mindfulness programs!
By training with us your tuition contribution serves to support our ongoing mission to train & develop in-house school teachers and students. INP will offer you options for subsidizing and/or supplementing the cost associated with tuition, supplies and equipment.
Through this training, you will:
Generate, adapt and teach yoga (asana) sequences to meet the physical, mental and socio-emotional needs of fellow teachers and educators
Learn how to present methods of subtle energetics (meditation, pranayama, chakra-based exercises, bandhas, etc.) to empower educators
Apply the tools of yoga and best teaching practices to transform your classroom environment from a “classroom management” model to a “classroom empowerment” approach
apply functional anatomy, and a basic understanding of human physical and energy anatomy, to teach and lead peers through highly-engaging physical (asana) yoga sessions
Learn how to approach physical & verbal modifications and adjustments to empower your peers in their personal yoga practice
Deepen your own personal practice
Experience breakthroughs in your leadership and self-expression
In addition, by participating in and completing this training, you are commited to teaching a yoga class on your campus one day per week.
*While financial support is not guaranteed, In-Powered is committed to identifying and drawing funding sources to supplement your program costs. We will also assist you by developing and launching a personalized fundraising campaign page through In-Powered’s institutional website.
**Upon acceptance into the program a non-refundable $300 deposit is required to reserve your space.
NOTE: Full tuition payments are due one month prior to Day One of training. Payment plans also available upon request.
Applicants must be an in-house school teacher, principal, school leader, staff member, dedicated volunteer, or the like.
While an in-depth experience of yoga is NOT required, we encourage you to have a basic grasp of the physical practice and a general understanding of yoga and mindfulness.
